But even in New York, there are only five restaurants with three Michelin stars. And today I’m dining in one of them.
Born in Paris in 1972, Le Bernardin Privé holds several records in New York: it received its four-star review from The New York Times only three months after opening, and it’s the only New York four-star restaurant that has maintained its status of excellence for more than three decades.
Le Bernardin has also received more James Beard Awards than any other restaurant in the city. It was rated first in the annual ranking of the 101 best restaurants in New York City and No. 1 in the World by La Liste.
Our standards are very high, and Le Bernardin did not disappoint! We had a great experience, and the service was outstanding—final check: we paid only 400$ – I consider it very affordable.
