My best friend flew over from Australia to visit me in New York, and after not seeing each other for over a year, we spent the week exploring all of my favourite places around the city. From Brooklyn and Dumbo to Soho shopping, rooftop bars, iconic New York food and hidden gems, this was one of my favourite weeks since moving here.
We try some of NYC’s most famous food spots, wander through the East Village, take viral photo booth pictures, visit Brooklyn, explore Time Out Market, enjoy rooftop cocktails with skyline views, and simply spend time doing everyday life together.
One of my favourite parts of living overseas is getting to share the city I’ve built a life in with the people I love most. This vlog is about friendship, finding community, and why New York continues to feel more and more like home.
