Come with us on another Mi Tall Story adventure, this time exploring the incredible sights, sounds, food and beaches of Thailand! 🇹🇭
Our journey takes us from the energy and organised chaos of Bangkok to the tropical paradise of Phuket and the surrounding islands. Along the way there were temples, tuk tuks, markets, amazing Thai food, plenty of laughs and, judging by some of the old photos, a few moments we had completely forgotten about! 😂
In Bangkok we experienced the city from one of its most legendary hotels, the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok. Sitting beside the Chao Phraya River, it was the perfect base for exploring Bangkok’s temples, streets, restaurants and nightlife before returning to a little bit of luxury.
Then it was time to swap the city for Thailand’s spectacular coastline. We stayed at the beautiful Amanpuri in Phuket, an incredible resort surrounded by tropical gardens and overlooking the Andaman Sea. From there, Thailand just kept getting better.
We also escaped to Zeavola Resort on Phi Phi Island, where the pace slowed right down—beautiful beaches, warm tropical water and that relaxed island atmosphere Thailand does so well. 🏝️
But as always, the best memories weren’t necessarily the expensive hotels. They were the experiences in between: riding around in tuk tuks, visiting temples, trying a fish spa, meeting local people, eating our way around Thailand, relaxing by the pool and discovering some very funny signs along the way. 😂
Looking back at this trip years later makes it even more special. The fashions may have changed, the photos might be a little older, but the memories are just as good. Thailand certainly gave us a story to tell!
