Come along with me as I visit God’s Thumb near Lincoln City, Oregon, one of the most dramatic viewpoints along the Oregon Coast!
This unforgettable adventure took me through the beautiful coastal landscape toward the famous thumb-shaped basalt formation overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The trail winds through lush forest before opening onto a grassy ridge with sweeping views of rugged cliffs, secluded coves, sea stacks, and the endless blue horizon.
The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, but this is also a place where visitors need to use caution. Parts of the route can be muddy, steep, exposed, and close to significant drop-offs, so proper footwear and staying on the established trail are essential.
