We spent 48 hours exploring Vientiane, the capital of Laos 🇱🇦 and honestly… it surprised us in ways we didn’t expect.
Known as one of the quietest capital cities in Southeast Asia, Vientiane has a completely different pace compared to many other major cities in the region. In this video, we walk through some of the city’s most important cultural and historical sites, visit beautiful temples, and experience one of the most meaningful stops in Laos—the COPE Visitor Centre.
From golden temples and peaceful streets to learning about Laos’ history and resilience, this city gave us a very different perspective than we expected.
