This park is only a few hours from Yosemite & it borders Sequoia National Park – it is SO easy to visit before or after you go to these more popular parks.
When people do visit, they often just visit the tree groves near Sequoia but to really experience this park – you HAVE to drive Kings Canyon Scenic Byway down into the canyon!
