Welcome to the ultimate Toronto Chinese food tour! Today Clement from @InstaNoodls and I are taking you to eat some of the best Chinese food in Toronto.
Toronto is home to one of the largest Chinese communities outside of Asia, but most people don’t realize how vastly different each neighborhood eats. From decades-old Cantonese roast meats in historic Chinatown to fiery hand-pulled noodles up in North York, we are going on a fast-paced 40-minute food marathon to uncover the dishes you can’t even find in China – including a few Chinese foods that aren’t even available in China. And we’ll be wrapping up this Toronto Chinese food tour at the original Hakka restaurant in Canada.
Joined by Toronto food insider Clement Leung, we dive into iconic local spots. We start with crisp Cantonese BBQ, taste handmade Northern-style dumplings made right by the front door, brave a bowl of fiery chili oil noodles, and finish at Canada’s historic first Hakka restaurant, where two sisters are preserving their family’s legendary recipe for Indian-Chinese chili chicken!
