In this video we explore Queens in New York City. An area that most tourist who travel to New York overlook. During my last visit in New York City, I have only been to Manhattan, but I kept wondering what the non-touristy side of New York is like. Now I want to find out.
We start the journey with a $500 First Class flight from Chicago to New York. Is it worth the upgrade? Once on the ground, we head straight to Flushing, home to one of the most authentic Chinatowns in the world, to find some incredible street food.
I also meet up with a local friend, Greg (@FoodandFootprints) who takes me through the vibrant streets of Queens like Jackson Heights, Little Manila, and Little Mexico. We explore the local food scene, discuss the reality of living in NYC.
