In this episode, we arrive at our next stop in Austin, Texas, and settle into the unique Carpenter Hotel, a retro-inspired hotel located in the heart of the city.
The adventure kicks off with a visit to Tattoo Legacy, where Daniel, a customer we met in the previous episode, surprised us with an incredible gift: a tattoo. To mark the occasion and remember this journey, I decided to get the outline of the state of Texas tattooed.
After that, we made a stop at one of my favorite stores in the United States, Bass Pro Shops, before heading to one of the most famous BBQ spots in the country, Terry Black’s Barbecue. From the atmosphere to the food, it was a true Texas experience.
Later in the day, we hosted our event at the Carpenter Hotel, connecting with amazing people and continuing to share the Why Hats experience on the road.
To wrap up the day, we headed to Congress Avenue, one of Austin’s most iconic streets. It was a special moment for Genis, who bought his very first cowboy hat there more than 10 years ago, making it the perfect way to end another unforgettable day in Texas.
