Salt Hank’s in NYC is one of the most hyped sandwiches in all of NYC right now. Beyond just a viral sensation, Salt Hank’s TikTok craze isn’t just the reason for it being hyped, it’s also being praised by critics and locals as not only the best french dip sandwich in NYC, but perhaps the best sandwich in NYC period. When you consider how many great sandwiches there are in NYC, that is high praise!
I mean think about it, there’s Katz’s Deli, and even just naming the best pastrami sandwich period in NYC is an undertaking. If you factor in burgers and fried chicken sandwiches and etc you have way more candidates. But Salt Hank’s is being talked about as one of the best sandwiches in NYC, if not one of the best restaurants in NYC right now. I knew I had to try it! Let’s see if it really is all that great or if it’s just another overrated TikTok spot being propped up by an influencer and his fans!
