Paula Short didn’t set out to build a global beauty brand.

She created a product to help bring more customers into her salon, took it to London, walked into major retailers, and kept saying yes to opportunities before she knew exactly how they would work. That journey eventually led to international distribution, BBC Dragons’ Den, and a business far bigger than she originally imagined.

On Episode 328 of Fervent Four, Paula joins Zack Miller and Tim Ryan to talk about building Beauty Boulevard, following what was already working, founder burnout, selling the company, starting over in America in her 50s, and why sometimes the best move is simply knocking on the door and seeing what happens.
