Howard puts $500 on the line for a caller, and the game collapses on air
because the answer key jumps straight from A to Z. Gary blames Sal. Sal
blames Gary. Neither one backs down, and Sal ends up asking the audience
to decide who was right.

Gary pulls Sal into his office to explain that the files just need to run
A, B, C, D. Sal insists he did exactly what he was told, refuses to hear
it, and gets thrown out — then comes back and says Gary was right, which
Gary says he only did so Gary would drop it. Sal then walks the whole
thing out on air with the screen up, calls Gary’s pitch a loop playing in
his baboon head, and hands the verdict to the listeners.

Robin, Fred and Artie Lange are all in the room while it happens.
