We begin in Old Quebec, walking along Dufferin Terrace beneath the world-famous Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. From there, we make our way down the Breakneck Stairs into Quartier Petit-Champlain, one of the oldest and most picturesque commercial districts in North America.
After grabbing sandwiches from Le Petit Dep, we explore Quebec City’s Lower Town, including the waterfront and historic Place Royale. Then comes the hard part: climbing what feels like every staircase in Quebec City to reach the Plains of Abraham!
Later, we return to Saint-Roch, the neighbourhood where we’re staying, to try authentic Quebec poutine at Casse-Croûte Chez Gaston and local craft beer at Noctem Artisans Brasseurs.
