Pixels (2015) has one of those comedy moments that instantly feels like it came from a different era. The British Prime Minister’s accent becomes part of the joke, and the scene fully commits to that exaggerated style of humor without taking itself too seriously.
Years ago, mainstream comedies used accents, awkward conversations, and over-the-top reactions much more freely. Today, jokes like this feel noticeably less common in big Hollywood movies.
With Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Peter Dinklage, Josh Gad, Michelle Monaghan, Sean Bean, Brian Cox, and Fiona Shaw in the cast, Pixels was already packed with ridiculous moments.
And somehow, this little scene is still one of the funniest. 😂
