Get in, loser! Weβre going on a Kumamoto road trip **honk honk** π
After 10 trips to Japan, Iβm visiting the south island of Kyushu for the first time. And while I wouldβve loved it if we had time to explore Fukuoka and Nagasaki, Kumamoto alone had plenty to keep us busy.
From sipping matcha at a Japanese garden and relaxing in a steaming onsen to marveling at the sight of an active volcano and tracking down One Piece statues around the prefecture, Kyushu is packed with Japan bucket-list activities.

ππ»ββοΈ About Me:
Hi, I’m Jasmine, or Jas for short. (Yes, I’m so lazy I can’t even be bothered to spell out the last four letters of my name.)
Iβm a Taiwanese Canadian gal from Vancouverβor as Iβd like to call it, Raincouver. It gets depressing here ten out of the twelve months of the year, which is why you can expect to find me elsewhere, staying dry and avoiding the rain.
As every Asian parentβs worst nightmare, I quit my cushy 9-to-5 marketing job in 2019 and have been blogging about my travels ever since. While it’s a fantasy come true to get paid to jet-set around the world, it’s not always as glamorous as it seems.
By sharing behind the scenes of what it’s really like being a (f)unemployed travel blogger, I hope to inspire you to try questionable street food, discover new cultures, strike up a conversation with your seat neighbor on that 16-hour flight, chase after your dreams, and live your best life π₯³
