Just a short stroll from the 18th green of the Old Course, its name is borrowed from the castle on the Isle of Skye.
Part of the hotel, the walls and ceilings of the famed Golfers Lounge Bar are completely covered with pictures of visitors to the bar from golfers (including over 35 major winners) and, sometimes quite randomly, other sports stars such as Ice Hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, in part due to the involvement of celebrities in pro-am tournaments.
