A beautiful party-day morning at Magic Kingdom turned into one of those unexpectedly full Disney days: a sunrise resort walk, unusually light early crowds, four attractions before the morning really got moving, two Dapper Dans sets, Halloween treats and merchandise, a brand-new Mickey popcorn bucket, a Winnie the Pooh sipper hunt, and the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade.
We started near Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, walked through the Grand Floridian area and along the monorail resort loop, then entered Magic Kingdom for an early look at Main Street U.S.A., Cinderella Castle and rope-drop strategy on a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party day.
Inside the park we visited the Main Street Confectionery for new Halloween treats, walked through the different rope-drop options, climbed Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, rode Jungle Cruise, Magic Carpets of Aladdin and Pirates of the Caribbean, found one of my favorite hidden Mickeys, watched the Dapper Dans twice, took a PeopleMover ride, spotted a Cast Member creating Donald Duck water art, and went on a full Fantasyland excursion for the Winnie the Pooh Honey Bee sipper.
