We stayed one night at L’Auberge de Sedona, a luxury resort along Oak Creek in Sedona’s Red Rock Country, booked using a Hilton free night certificate. Cash rate would have been around $1,000 a night.

The resort is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, bookable through Hilton Honors, and recently completed a $30 million renovation and expansion. Everything felt fresh and well appointed. The property has a really distinct vibe – part French countryside, part Arizona wilderness. And yes, there are wild cats roaming the grounds. We counted at least eight of them.
We stayed in the Lodge Deluxe ADA room for one night. Quick note – since this is an accessibility room, the layout is more spacious than a standard lodge room. We can’t compare it directly to the standard rooms, but the extra space was a nice bonus. If you’re sensitive to noise, we’d recommend booking a second floor lodge room or a cottage instead, since you can hear footsteps from the floor above on the first floor.
The continental breakfast is included with Hilton Gold status. Honestly, it’s very basic and we wouldn’t pay the $25 per person price if it wasn’t complimentary. The a la carte menu might be worth it though. The property also offers a complimentary town car service to drop you off in Uptown Sedona, which is a nice touch. Walking back downhill is easy, and they can pick you up too if you don’t want to walk back up.
