This is one of the most EXCLUSIVE steakhouses in New York City! π½π₯©π° And you already know I had to find out just how expensive dinner could get. π³π³
I pulled up to Catch and Chop on the Upper East Side ready for the full VIP experience. π They tried to give me a regular table with the common peopleβ¦ absolutely NOT. ππ« I told them I needed something more private, and they opened up an entire PRIVATE CELLAR ROOM just for me. π·π
Now THAT’S more like it. ππ° No peasants allowed! π
Once I got comfortable, I asked the most important question:
βWhatβs the MOST EXPENSIVE thing on the menu?β πΈ
Next thing I know, the table is getting ridiculous. π€―
π¦ Madagascar prawns
π¦ Fresh lobster
π¦ Crab
π₯ Scallops with risotto
π₯© Porterhouse for two
π¦ Lobster tail
π₯ Garlic mashed potatoes
π« Flourless chocolate cake
πΎ Expensive bottles
The seafood was INSANELY fresh. π¦π The prawns were thick and juicy, the scallops were perfectly cooked, and that lobster had me feeling like I was sitting on a boat in Maine. π
But then the PORTERHOUSE came outβ¦ π₯©π₯
Perfect sear on the outside, juicy on the inside, well seasoned and cooked MEDIUM like it’s supposed to be. π€ Stop ordering your steak well done! π You’re paying steakhouse prices just to turn it into Hamburger Helper!
Porterhouse: 9.87/10! π₯π₯©
And apparently they weren’t finished taking my money. ππ³ Every five minutes another expensive bottle was coming to the table. πΎπ
At this point I didn’t know if I was reviewing the restaurant or personally paying their rent for the month. ππ°
But the biggest question isβ¦
HOW MUCH DID THE ENTIRE DINNER COST?! π³πΈ
Watch until the end for the final bill! ππ³
Was this exclusive NYC steakhouse actually worth the money?
VIP SEASON. ππ°π₯© No peasants allowed. Stop playing with them. ππ₯
