🇺🇸 We’re heading on a Florida Gulf Coast road trip as we leave Orlando behind and explore Clearwater Beach and St. Pete Beach in search of our favourite Florida beach! 🌴☀️
From the beautiful white sands and turquoise waters of Clearwater Beach to the laid-back feel of St. Pete Beach, we’re exploring a completely different side of Florida — and the beach we ended up preferring genuinely surprised us!
Our Gulf Coast adventure starts in Clearwater, Florida, where we take to the water on the brilliant Mega Bite boat tour 🦈🐬 and head out onto the Gulf in search of dolphins.
Then it’s time to check into the stunning Hiatus Clearwater Beach! 🏨
We show you around the hotel, give you a look at our room and head up to the rooftop pool to enjoy some incredible views over Clearwater. As the sun goes down, we experience one of those amazing Clearwater Beach sunsets that Florida’s Gulf Coast is famous for. 🌅
We also head back to The Bait House, one of our favourite places to eat in Clearwater, before continuing our Florida road trip down the coast.
Next stop… St. Pete Beach! 🏝️
Straight away, we notice how different St. Pete Beach feels compared with Clearwater. Beautiful sand, warm Gulf water and a much more relaxed atmosphere — but after experiencing both, which beach would we actually choose?
