Ocean Empire Food Shop, a 33-year-old congee chain, has announced its closure of all its seven locations, adding to the growing list of business shutdowns in the city.
The Federation of Trade Unions has received requests for assistance from around 100 employees, with over 10% being imported labour, with a total amount claimed of $3 to $4 million.
