France doesn’t have just one cuisine.
In this new Paris Top Tips series, I’m exploring the country’s regional cuisines without leaving Paris — one region at a time.

And for our first stop, we’re heading to Corsica.
Known for its dramatic mountains, beautiful beaches, cured meats, cheeses, chestnuts and distinctive Mediterranean flavors, Corsica has one of the strongest culinary identities in France.

To see how well that identity travels to Paris, I visited L’Alivi, a Corsican restaurant in the heart of Le Marais.
From prisuttu and Corsican tomme to chestnut beer, sea bass and traditional fiadone, this meal gave us a real taste of the island.

So can you genuinely discover Corsica through its food — without leaving Paris?
