Established in 1868, the bar is instantly recognizable by its unusual flat-iron shape, resembling a mini version of New York’s Flatiron Building.
Originally opened as a Victorian gin palace, Bittles today is celebrated for its rich character, vibrant art-filled interior, and eclectic atmosphere. The walls are adorned with portraits of Irish literary figures, political icons, and sporting legends, offering a visual feast as you enjoy your drink.
Famously doesn’t serve cokes or half pints, it was fire bombed for serving officers from the nearby police station during the troubles.
