🌺 Sunset Lei Making at Little Plumeria Farms | North Shore, Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi
If you’re looking for something unique to do on Oʻahu beyond the beaches, I cannot recommend this experience enough! 🌸
We visited Little Plumeria Farms on the North Shore of Oʻahu for their Sunset Lei Making Tour, and it was genuinely one of my favorite experiences in Hawaiʻi.
This beautiful, family-run farm has been growing plumerias since 1973 and is home to one of the world’s largest collections of rare hybrid plumerias. The property spans 20 acres and overlooks the gorgeous North Shore coastline.
During our visit, we learned about the history of the farm, explored the beautiful plumeria gardens, picked fresh flowers, and made our very own lei!
What made this experience particularly special was learning about the Hawaiian cultural significance of lei making. It wasn’t just about stringing flowers together. We learned about the traditions, care, and meaning behind something so deeply connected to Hawaiʻi.
And yes, it was raining during our visit! 😂 But honestly, the rain added something so beautiful to the experience. The farm operates rain or shine, so don’t let a little Hawaiian rain discourage you!
Also, if you’ve seen their TikToks, YES, the shirtless guy was there. Unfortunately for us, he was wearing a shirt. LOL.
