A Greek island beach that takes you back to what beaches in Greece used to be 🏖️

We visit Greece several times a year with family, and Serifos was new for us this trip. It’s understated in the best way.

Our host at Nostos Boutique Hotel gave us a list of recommendations — and mentioned Vagia Beach as one of her personal favourites. No fanfare, just a quiet suggestion. Those are usually the ones worth following.

Vagia sits on the south coast, about 6.5–9 km from the port at Livadi. No loungers, no crowds — just emerald water, coloured pebbles across the seabed, and a wide golden-sand bay.

It’s part of the Natura 2000 protected network, which is why it’s stayed exactly like this.

📍 Vagia Beach, Serifos, Cyclades

Other beautiful beaches which I loved include:
📍Ganema
📍Psilli Ammos
📍Agios Sostis
📍Kalo Ambeli
