comedy movies where did they go and why do they suck now first thing I went and watched Adam’s remarks they’re way more fleshed out than Marvel bad but Marvel has shaped a specific brand of humor lazy predictable dated references it works for some but the biggest contributing factors are Financial Risk PC culture the evolution and quickness of comedy and subjective manner prime example parody movies when is the last great parody movie references in pop culture moves far too quickly for a movie to be produced and come out and feel relevant which is why this form of Comedy thrives on Tick Tock YouTube quick to the punch personally I think a lot of comedy movies success is word of mouth and quotes think about it you can probably quote a comedy movie from the 70s 80s 90s oos but right around the mid to late 2000s comedy movies lessened and these Word of Mouth quotes and stuff came from Vines and YouTube Joyride and no hard feelings were two that broke the mold but think the last 15 years what’s a great comedy movie
