Translated as ‘At the Two Suns’, it is most notable for its association with writer Jan Neruda, who is believed to have lived here between 1845 and 1857. A prominent journalist, poet and art critic he immortalised the building in his short story collection ‘Tales of the Lesser Quarter’ in 1877.
The work is his best known and transports the reader to the streets of Prague and displays the life of the Czech Bourgeoisie
