Welcome back to Best Life and Beyond! This weekend, we packed up for what was supposed to be an epic camping and surfing trip at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point. Unfortunately, the extreme heat and humidity forced us to make a massive last-minute change of plans—we ditched the camping!
Even without the campsite, we ended up staying down at the beach for an incredible 3-day trip. We spent our time exploring the city, soaking up the local history by checking out the famous street lanterns in the plaza, and eating some amazing food. If you are ever in the area, you have to try aPizza Doho, grab a brew from Bear Coast Coffee, and hang out at Doho Cafe right by the water!
The biggest highlight? Spencer finally got back in the water! Despite the crazy high tide, he was able to paddle out and test the custom surfboard he’s been working on in our last two videos. You do not want to miss the results!
