Hierve el Agua, Oaxaca, Mexico — I thought I knew what Mexico was going to look like… then I drove into the mountains and saw something I honestly didn’t expect.

In this travel vlog, I leave Oaxaca City behind and take the winding drive into the mountains to explore Hierve el Agua: famous for its petrified waterfalls, natural cliff-edge mineral pools, and jaw-dropping valley views.

I originally came here just hoping for some great cinematic shots for the channel, but standing on the edge of these natural cliffs in person felt completely different. Sometimes the journey and the place itself end up being far more memorable than the video you set out to create.

📍 Places Featured: • Oaxaca City to San Isidro Roaguía drive • The Petrified Waterfalls (Cascadas Petrificadas) • The Cliffside Natural Mineral Pools

💬 Question of the day: Would you actually visit Hierve el Agua, or swim in these cliffside pools? What would you want to do first? Let me know in the comments below!
