Thirty three dollars a day. One retired couple pays that much each to live at sea. And this is not a vacation. They live here.
This documentary moves in with the people who have made a cruise ship their home. Someone has already made the bed, breakfast is a few decks away, and there is a new island outside every few days. We look at how the money really works, what thirty three dollars a day includes and what it leaves out, the crew of around fourteen hundred who keep a floating town of more than five thousand people running, and what this life asks of you before you decide it could be yours.
