We checked out Brushes + Brew, a weekly paint night by ArtXcursion, hosted at HenHouse Brewing in Petaluma — and it was such a great local experience.
This guided paint night was Elf-themed and perfect for beginners. We started with pencil stencils to build confidence and learned how to mix primary colors to create any color, along with step-by-step tips on layering and technique.
The class is led by nationally recognized artist Alana Tillman, who has the incredible ability to paint using a brush held in her mouth while teaching real, professional art techniques in a fun and inclusive environment.
Add craft beer from HenHouse Brewing 🍺 and birria tacos from Mexikens 🌮 and it turns into one of the best things to do in Sonoma County with friends.
