Maharashtra FDA ka Infant Food par Sakht Order: Formula Milk ke Ads, Free Samples aur Social Media Prachar par Rok.
Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ne 29 September 2026 ko infant formula, baby food aur feeding bottles ko lekar poore Maharashtra ke liye sakht order jaari kiya, jo turant lagu ho gaya.
Iske tahat infant milk aur baby food ke vigyapan, free samples, gifts, coupons, cashback, discounts aur social media par prachar par rok lagayi gayi hai. Har baby food ke packet ke saamne “Mother’s Milk Is Best For Your Baby” likhna zaroori hoga.
Packet par chhote bachchon ya mahilaon ki tasveer aur “complete food” aur “health food” jaise shabdon ka istemal bhi nahi kiya ja sakega.
6 mahine ke baad shuru kiye jaane wale extra food ke baare mein packet par saaf jaankari deni hogi.
Baby food banane wali companies, importers aur brand owners ko 30 din ke andar apne products aur packets ki khud jaanch karni hogi.
FDA ke adhikari 45 din mein maal ki supply ka poora pata lagayenge aur 60 din mein poori jaanch ki report taiyar karenge. Rules todne par ₹10 lakh tak ka jurmana, ghatiya quality ke food par ₹5 lakh tak aur packet par galat jaankari dene par ₹3 lakh tak ka jurmana ho sakta hai.
Order mein maa ke doodh ki commercial sale yani paise lekar bikri par rok ko bhi dobara saaf kiya gaya hai.
