Want to explore the best 3 beaches in Ontario? Visit Sandbanks Provincial Park
We had a weekend camping trip to Sandbanks Provincial Park in Ontario Canada. This park is very difficult to get in, either for a day trip or a camping trip as it’s one of the most popular park with beautiful Sandy beaches and Dunes. We stayed at the Woodlands campground. We visited all 3 beaches, Lakeshore beach, Dunes beach and Outlet beach and took a day trip to Lake on the Mountain Provincial Park.
Sandbanks is about 2.5 hours from Toronto and located in Prince Edward County (PEC) and is a perfect spot for a beach getaway. You need to book for a day pass 5 days in advance and for camping, 5 months in advance, unless you are lucky and get a cancellation.
