You can’t have a dock on the front side of Fort Myers Beach. You get the views, the sunsets and direct beach access, and your boat sits at a marina, which means a car or golf cart ride every time you want to use it. Boaters looking for the most value usually end up on the back side of the beach, in Cape Coral, on the Caloosahatchee or on the Naples inlets. Dock limits, riparian rights and lift size all matter before you make an offer.
