This weekend, I’m delighted to announce the @spotify and @apple premiere of @ourrepresentation’s “Savor with Tiffany Pham” podcast, also now a TV Show “Savor” premiering in 2027. It was also a Featured Podcast this week by @amazon.

On each episode, I pull up a chair, on the weekends, with the most iconic chefs of our time and we eat together the iconic dish that made them famous, delving into the specifics of what makes the dish legendary while we talk life, dreams, journeys, and aspirations.

For the premiere episode, I eat Handpulled Noodles with one of the most admired Chef-Owners in today’s culinary world:

Jason Wang, CEO of Xi’an Famous Foods ( @xianfoods)

Jason has built one of New York’s most beloved culinary institutions from a single stall into a nationwide success while remaining family owned, and he has done it with a conviction, humility, and generosity of spirit I have always admired. He is a James Beard Nominee and a 2026 Savor Honoree.

The dish we shared is: the N1 spicy cumin lamb hand-ripped biang biang noodles at Xi’an Famous Foods. Made with cumin, chili, Sichuan peppercorn, black vinegar, and noodle pulled by hand, it is one of the most iconic dishes of New York City.

I’m honored to call Jason a longtime friend and inspiration.

Here are special quotes from Jason’s episode:

– “I don’t feel like I 100% belong even now. I don’t think I’ll ever feel 100% belong.”
– “Twenty years in, it’s not so much about just being in business anymore. It’s about legacy. What do I want to be known for.”
