We’re spending the day in Murray Hill, a neighborhood just east of Midtown, nestled between the East River and Park Avenue, taking in its classic New York vibe. First up: lunch at Sarge’s Delicatessen—a Manhattan staple for nearly 50 years with a true old-school feel, and one of the last authentic Jewish delis in the city. Next, we visit the Morgan Library & Museum—once J.P. Morgan’s private collection, now a world-class institution. And finally, we stop at Scandinavia House for coffee and Nordic treats at Björk Café & Bistro. All the while, Dad keeps us laughing with stories from his Junior High and High School days in 1950s NYC.
