Must try omakase – New York City
πŸ“ Ki Omakase
Address: 251-09 Northern Blvd, Little Neck, NY 11362, United States

This might be one of the best new omakase spots in New York City πŸ‘€πŸ£ Hidden in Little Neck, Queens, Ki Omakase takes you through an intimate multi-course experience starting with four appetizers before moving into 11 pieces of nigiri, a hand roll, and dessert.

The appetizers were such a strong start: oyster with creamy uni, delicate Japanese fluke with wasabi-pineapple purΓ©e and lime zest, a silky cold corn bisque with scallop, shimeji mushrooms, and a sweet sake-soy reduction, and tender anago wrapped in tofu skin with seaweed and shiso, finished with a bright yuzu tempura sauce.

Then came 11 pieces of nigiri, including madai, kinmedai, kanpachi, shima aji, botan ebi, hotate, salmon, akami, toro, Hokkaido uni, and wagyu. 🍣 The progression went from clean and delicate to sweet, buttery, and incredibly rich, with the toro, creamy Hokkaido uni, and melt-in-your-mouth wagyu being some of my favorite bites. Definitely a Queens omakase worth making the trip for. ✨
