After driving hundreds of miles across the USA in a huge RV, my brother Hugh and I finally reached two of America’s most famous roadside attractions. First, we stopped at South of the Border in South Carolina before visiting the legendary Buc-ee’s, a place so many Americans had told us we couldn’t miss.
In this USA road trip video, we continue our Boston to Miami road trip, crossing many states as we race to reach Miami in time for Scotland’s next FIFA World Cup match. Along the way, Hugh takes over driving the RV for the first time, we experience Buc-ee’s for the very first time, try its famous food like the brisket sandwich and homemade jerky, and discover why so many people say it’s America’s craziest gas station.
One of my favourite parts of this American road trip has been discovering how different each state feels, and it’s been fascinating seeing the USA from a Scottish perspective.
