We chose one beach from each side of Oahu: west, north, east, and south. Each one offers a different version of an Oahu beach day.
BEACHES FEATURED
Makaha Beach: A quieter west-side beach with a mountain backdrop and Hawaiian green sea turtles in the water during our visit.
Waimea Bay: Known for large winter surf, but calm, clear, and easy for swimming when we visited.
Kailua Beach: Soft sand, bright windward water, and playful waves that made this one of the most enjoyable swims of the trip.
Waikiki Beach: The busiest beach on our list, with Diamond Head views, rainbows, city energy, and a sunset swim.
