The main highlight of our visit was the relaxing **boat journey through the Poovar backwaters**. As our boat moved through the narrow waterways surrounded by thick mangroves and coconut trees, we could experience the peaceful and untouched natural beauty of this region.
The backwaters around Poovar are also home to many species of birds, making the boat ride especially enjoyable for nature lovers and photographers.

One of the most beautiful sights at Poovar is the area where the calm backwaters approach the Arabian Sea. The famous **Golden Sand Beach** adds to the spectacular scenery.
