The other week Erik from the Malaysian restaurant Wok Wok hit us up, letting us know that their lease was about to expire and that they needed help getting the word out.
We’re always down to help a small business when we can, but I wasn’t prepared for just how good this restaurant is.
The food at Wok Wok is truly phenomenal. And it makes sense, Erik grew up working at his parents’ restaurants in Malaysia, interned at the legendary fine-dining restaurant Per Se, and helmed a Michelin-starred kitchen at a Thai restaurant in the city.
Go support Wok Wok not only because they could use the help, but because you will have a really incredible meal at an affordable price.
It also helps that Erik is a ray of sunshine who makes you feel at home here.
